All "Sparkles" at the Parade of Lights in Perham

           On the Perham Express

                     Diana, Chair of the Parade

The Perham Parade of Lights had quite the sparkle on Friday! Miss Heart of the Lakes Caitlyn and I rode on the Perham Express Train down the streets of Perham, waving away at all the spectators. 36 floats participated in the parade. The variety of floats was illustrated through many creative and sparkling designs. It was a beautiful sight. The nip in the wind was enough to make your fingers cold, but it sure didn't ruin the evening. It gave the perfect touch to the start of the Holiday Season.

After the parade Caitlyn and I enjoyed the rest of the evening at Mulligans in Perham. There we had the opportunity to sign autograph cards, visit with families, enjoy the band that played, and hand out the prizes to the parade winners. Congrats to Perham Family Dentistry for taking 1st place! Your rock and roll theme was fantastic.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm heading back to Jamestown to finish up with 1st Semester. I've really enjoyed my Thanksgiving break spending time with family and catching up with loved ones. It's been quite refreshing. Soon I'll be back home for Christmas. :) Enjoy this wonderful Holiday Season!

Much love,
and Blessings!

Paige
